Call for submissions

The Jerusalem municipality invites independent dance & performance composers from Jerusalem and the surrounding areas to submit requests to:

-Join the community of independent dance and performance composers in Jerusalem

– Join the community of independent dance and performance composers rehearsal spaces users in Jerusalem

Criteria for submitting candidacy:

• An artist who is a resident of Jerusalem and surrounding areas and/or an artist who creates in Jerusalem
• Age 18 and above
• A professional artist for whom art is the primary profession or a professional artist who is a graduate of an Israeli university school of performing arts, for whom this is a primary occupation, who has created at least one piece of art which was performed on stage in the past three years.
• An artist who is currently working on a new piece or plans to commence work on one
• An artist who is not receiving any other municipal funding (no double funding) for this work

Exceptions will be reviewed and considered by the steering committee separately, based on the applicant’s work and contributions
