The desert, silence, the wind carries grains of sand from place to place, almost endless space helps to move away from the daily hustle and meet with oneself.
The Con-calore dance group, in collaboration with the Jerusalem visual arts content project @tiltup.co.il , has created the post-dramatic choreographic solo performance "Inner".
A look to the east, the country of Israel and oneself in it from the inside is shown here through the prism of the image of an eastern-european heroine with a russian mentality.
Faced with internal conflicts at a time when the heroine is in the space between the cultures of the East and West, the process of self-discovery forces the author to ask the question about the importance of realizing her cultural and national identity. What is the basis and backbone of a person? Its psychological core?
What is temporary and what is old skin that needs to be thrown away? ..
At this moment, when the silence seems thick, it is difficult to move in it, but you feel that you can drink it and fill yourself with new meanings, new depth, discover new universes…

About the artist: Choreographer, artistic director, performer of the Con- Calore Dance Company.
She known for her unique choreography style, choosing dramatic structures of movement, which extend the autobiography of the body. Maya was born in a small town in Russia, finished the professional ballet school in Voronezh as a ballet dancer as well as the St.-Petersburg state conservatory of Rimsky-Korsakov as a choreographer. worked as a solo dancer in Saint-Petersburg Yacobson dance theatre, Ballet theater of Saint Petersburg conservatory, Cannon Dance Company, won a prize in the St.Petersburg choreography competition "Agon" on her nomination of the "best women role", created shows for students in Vaganova Academy in st. Petersburg, danced at Moscow ballet theatre and at Adama dance company, worked as a solo dancer and a teacher in the Jerusalem Dance Theatre, created independent contemporary dance projects and collaborated with different choreographers.
Maya with her partner Michal Bar-Or , writer and international relationship director established the Con-calore dance company in 2018th, than her creations ( "Not a couple?" "Merge into surreal" "Inner") was invited to the most prestigious festivals and venues in Israel and around the world.
