Training and master classes take place throughout the year. The content of these sessions is determined by a steering committee comprised of Yael’s executive board and community members, and is based on a feedback questionnaire filled by the artists, as well as by needs that arise from the field and examined annually. These provide an opportunity for artists to further their knowledge and acquire professional tools in a warm, familial and accepting atmosphere that promotes personal bonds as well as professional and social relationships – both with other artists and the speakers and institutions or public they represent. Oftentimes the meetings include professional workshops or several exposure performances of the resident dancers in front of invitees.
