As part of Between Heaven and Earth Festival, members of Yael
community participated in a special event showcasing three premiers by
community member artists: Dana Naim Hafouta and her work ‘Slits,’ in
search of the music of grandmothers; Mia Reshef and her work ‘The String’s
Edge,’ which follows the generational exchange between a creating mother
and her creating daughter; and Annabelle Dvir and her work ‘Instrumental
Bodies’ which follows the memories of the body, passed on from generation to
generation.
