Dance performances of the best choreographers will move from their regular location, to the city streets and the venue, which will undergo a transformation and become part of the artwork.

Valentina by Sophia Krantz

As a mother, I find myself searching for answers for all the questions my son Emil asks me. I feel as though I’m in a spaceship, launched to the moon and back, in an attempt to gather all the answers and cope with the dreams I meet on the way. This journey brought me to Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman the Soviets sent to space in 1963.  Valentina Tereshkova as the raw material to create an interactive performance with the audience.

Closer by Sharon Barbacov

“At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrest nor movement. And do not call it fixity,
Where past and future are gathered. Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline. Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance, and there is only the dance.” (T.S. Elliot, Four Quartets)

Side Effects by Mia Schwartz

Channeling our energy into things that are. Polishing them, taking care of them, growing within them. How easy it is to miss this. To miss what there is. And the strangest thing is that this urge/habit – climbing up the stairs of the glass that is never full, kills us unknowingly. It doesn’t leave us a moment of pleasure about what there is now. They say that we are our habits, so why do we think that the time that we have in our lives is logical, when we’re stuck in what isn’t?
