We invite you to attend an international dance event that creates a meeting between choreographers and dancers from Israel and the world, forming an inspiring and varied choreographic experience.

Five days of dancing, researching, and creating in a hothouse of first-class international dance; brainstorming with gifted dancers and conducting a fascinating artistic discourse. The workshops are a unique privilege for professional dancers.

A series of enriching, fascinating artist workshops with international artists: Iratxa Ansa (Spain), Igor Bacovich (Italy), Eyal Dadon (Israel), Dor Mamalya (Germany/Israel), Darius Novak (Poland /Germany).

The workshops will take place at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.  The various lessons will include repertoire, performance, composition, exposure to new and innovative movement languages, an enriching experience and accumulation of professional knowledge.

Festival RESIDANCE JERUSALEM is a project initiated by the Division of Culture and Arts of the Jerusalem Municipality. In collaboration with the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, the Youth Authority of the Jerusalem Municipality, Yael – Home for Independent Dance Creators in Jerusalem, and with the support of the Department of Adult Education of the Jerusalem Municipality, the Cultural, Society, and Sports Administration, and the Jerusalem Foundation .

 The Artist Workshop Series is intended for participants over the age of 19, for choreographers who have performed at least one work of choreography, and for professional, experienced dancers.

Participation fee for the artist workshops: 100 NIS.

Registration for the series will only be confirmed if payment is made – it is impossible to reserve a place in the workshop without credit card payment.
